Add prints. A great print can make anything seem new. Some of the time, all you need to go from winter to spring is the right scarf. Go for a one that's lightweight, knit or woven, and airy in a spring print. Floral, tribal or a pale-colored animal print will work wonders. Loosely wrap it in an effortless drape when possible; if it's too cool for that, go snug. It'll still change the feel of your ensemble.
Layer a cardigan and a dress. We all have our favorite spring dresses and while we can’t wear strapless just yet, you can easily add your favorite winter cardigan over your dress. It will keep you warm and looks chic.
Keep your coats on. Spring is coming soon, but we don’t retire your cold-weather duds just yet! Keep your black coat handy for brisk mornings, but be sure to freshen it up with a few seasonal buys like a great pair of heels and a pastel blouse.
Keep your dark washed jeans out. Dark-wash denim and a graphic knit can bring spring to you — without forcing you to break into lighter washed denim. Save those jeans for when it truly is spring.
Wear your chunky sweaters. While a cozy knit is a winter must, it's also an essential transition piece. When temps start to rise, partner it with a mini skirt. Roll up the sleeves and ace that effortlessly stylish look.
Keep your leather jacket out. Keep your leather jacket unzipped and pair it with a dress, it will keep you stylish and cool.
Keep your sturdy leather ankle boots out a little longer. The low-cut style gives you ample reason to show off your legs. Pair the look with the season's brightest floral dress and take your favorite pair of winter shoes into the spring.
